Since 2013 I’ve been working as a psychologist. In 2015 I shifted from organisational psychology to clinical work, and have been here ever since.
I have a cute cocker spaniel and a scrappy little street cat. As I work from home, you will probably get a few sightings along the way. I love animals and am passionate about animal rescue.
I am a staunch feminist, so I try to keep the patriarchy out of my practice as much as possible. I believe feminism is for us all. Anyone who is happy to work within a feminist framework is extremely welcome, regardless of gender.
I believe the arts are vital for our survival - we need them now more than ever. I consider creativity to be a sign of good mental health, and will always love seeing your latest masterpiece.
I lived in Japan for 18 months and have a very deep respect for Eastern ways of understanding the mind and body. My Japanese is pretty average these days but I still try to keep it up.

I have a special interest and passion for working with Highly Sensitive and Autistic women, particularly those that are highly masking. If you have ever thought ‘maybe I’m autistic…’, I would love to help you unpack this.
But more generally, I really like working with women who are curious to understand themselves - it’s truly an honour to witness people on their journey of self-understanding.

I mostly use Internal Family Systems to understand people, but aspects of experiential therapies like Emotion Focused Therapy and Gestalt Therapy also feature in my work. I have training in EMDR and often use that once safety has been established. It can be tricky to judge whether it will be helpful if I don’t know you too well.
When all else fails, let’s chat.
